The Misadventures of Little J

Me no like hot weather. Although I can't complain as much, SoCal is fortunate in getting some good decent weather. I'm more of the autumn and spring type gal. You can sneak in a little bit of winter in there as well. But not too much, just a pinch. And maybe a dash of beach weather for an added flavor. This last part is optional.



Anyway... So how about that Michael Phelps, eh? Eight gold medals!!!! EIGHT!!!!! Surpassing Mark Spitz's record of seven in a single Olympics. Almost makes me want to take up swimming. Almost. And there's Men's and Women's basketball and beach volleyball. Two I'm keeping a close eye on. We've got some strong and good athletes this time around. Haven't been able to watch the soccer matches, but from the current standings, we're doing pretty good.

Philippines also has a few athletes in the games this time around as well. I think there's boxing, archery, a running, tae kwon do, to name a few. There's one week left with all the track and field events. We'll see how that goes.
