Randomness

I was taking stock of my writings a couple days ago and I was surprised by the amount that I have written or have tried to write over the years. Doing a little late spring cleaning of my works and computer hard drives. Here's the tally as of today:

3 - completed feature screenplays (including the one I'm currently working on)
5 - short film screenplays (3 of which I have already made)
1 - short story (I'm currently trying to get it published)
1 - 10-min stage play
2 - full length stage plays
1 - haiku collection (30)
73 - poems (I love to write poetry on occasion)
15 - ideas/concepts/partially written scripts on my computer
1 shoebox of little pocket notebooks full of ideas and miscellaneous notes

All of this written in the span of 8-9 years. I didn't fully start writing until I was a probably a junior in high school. I guess I have one active imagination.

Anyway, I don't know if you remember I had mentioned (here) that I may put up an old animation I did from many years ago. Well, here you go. I made this during one of the classes I took back in college. I do want create some kind of short film animation. I just need to figure out what it will be about. If you've got 5-min to spare, you can watch it below. It's very abstract, experimental and isn't supposed to mean anything. Plus, my drawing skills aren't the best. But I do love to doodle and sketch every once in a while. Anyway, the first half is silent, then the second half has various sound effects. It's supposed to be a circus of really short animated clips of dots, lines and various shapes that I called Quest for the Mini-Extraveganza of Randomness.

Enjoy!!!

I loved it! Toward the end of part one there is time when the two lines look like lovers dancing.

My son's name is Henry!

So when you make it big do your bloggy friends get tickets to your opening show?! :0)
